KENDRICK

Description

Kendrick is a tall and muscular man with long shaggy brown hair worn in a mullet and tied in a ponytail. His canines are quite sharp, one of his only features that make him seem non-human. He is rarely clean shaven, usually having some form of stubble. His eyes are bright blue.

His body is covered with a large number of scars. Most notibly is the scar on his knee from surgery to repair a shattered kneecap, and several scars over his face from trying to protect Mamorufrom a demon.

His outfits are always practical and somewhat military. He doesn't wear any jewellery or accessories save for the dogtags that used to belong to his mentor.

His senses of smell and hearing are heightened, and he has incredibly sharp vision. His sense of taste is also somewhat improved but only similar to that of a beast's. He specialises in guns and firearms as his main weapons, prefering short-range ones over long-range but can use a combination of both. He has a taste for rare meat due to his demonic heritage, and he can't use magic at all and instead relies on his natural abilities.

Background

Kendrick won't be the person to start the fight, but he'll certainly be the one to finish it. He's fiesty and likes a good scrap, but never looks to start fights on purpose and knows there can be ways of de-excalating the situation before it results in a brawl.

He can be stubborn and head-strong, believing his way of doing things is best, but can eventually be talked around to different opinions. Besides this, he's a genuinely caring person who wants the best for those he cares about.

The bloodline Kendrick decends from is fairly new in the eyes of the Guild. His family members can't quite pinpoint what breed of dmon began their bloodline but it has only been around for two or three generations. It presents itself as keen senses, sharp canines, a taste for meat, and more than the average amount of physical stamina.

The conclusion was that it seems to be something bestial and that's all that has been looked into. Kendrick has no interest in finding out the source of his bloodline, only how he can best use it in his line of work.

As his family wasn't well-established in the Hunter's Guild, Kendrick had to work up the ranks to prove that he was fully capable of the more difficult hunts that could be picked up. Part of this was due to not being able to use any magic at all, however his heightened abilities and bestial nature, including being able to track things extremely well, meant he eventualy proved himself.
